About Partnership Against Alcohol & Drug Abuse

Partnership Against Alcohol & Drug Abuse

The Partnership Against Alcohol and Drugs (known as Partnership Against Alcohol & Drug Abuse) was organized, developed and incorporated by the Newport Task Force in 1994.

It has funded and given small grants to the OSSOM program at Newport High School, Grad Nite, Parent Network Forums, The Newport High School Health Center, Red Ribbon Program, Summer Youth Programs through the Housing Authority and Centro de Ayuda.

The Drug Free Workplace Committee, a sub-committee of PAADA, has been constantly working to encourage more employers and government agencies to establish Drug Free Workplaces.

Partnership Against Alcohol & Drug Abuse is implementing the Fatal Vision Program in the community, which educates people, especially in the hospitality industry, about the dangers of being intoxicated, especially while driving or operating any type of machinery or mechanical devices.
